1.LITERAL COMPREHENSION:
This poem was composed by famous Nepali poet Siddhicharan Shrestha and translated by Michael Hutt. In the poem, the poet has described the time when Nepalese people were struggling for democracy against the Rana regime. The speaker requests death not to call him right now because he doesn't have time even to think about it. He is too busy even to wipe the blood that has come from the broken head. He doesn't have time to think about the merry making activities. Therefore he alerts beautiful lady not to obstruct his advancing feet. He cannot waste the valuable time in entertainment while his people have cancelled their meals and are struggling for the freedom.

2.INTERPRETATION :
This poem might be trying to tell us that we should fight for freedom and democracy. Rational people always fight against social injustice, domination, discrimination and suppression regardless of their injuries.

3.CRITICAL THINKING :
This is an exciting political poem which urges us to contribute to our society and the nation. However some questions arise regarding the detail of the poem: Does the speaker not have time even to clean the blood from his broken head? Can we sacrifice our personal affairs for the public missions? Besides the desire of the people to get freedom is realistic one.

4.ASSIMILATION :                                           After reading this poem I realized the struggle of nepalese people to establish democracy within the nation .The death could not discourage them from establishing democracy in nepal  . From Now I will always stand for freedom ,justice and rights.
