In the story ,'A Fight Between a Lion And a Crocodile', the writer describes a fearful confrontation of a lion with a crocodile.
This story starts with the journey of the narrator and his friends. one day they slept on the bank of the river at the late night. they heard different kinds of sounds. All of them caught the sight of two moving objects, coming towards them crossing the surface of water. they saw the lion(male) and lioness (female) shining eyes to each other. Leo fired at the lioness and she died. A fully grown lion was two step behind her. suddenly, that time a Crocodile caught him by the leg. The lion managed to struggle on the bank .He clawed the crocodile's head and tore its one eye.they fought for a long time.The crocodile's head was full of injury .the Lion also felt to defeat the crocodile and died after some time the crocodile also died.
2.INTERPRETATION :
This story may be trying to show that life is full of struggle. one has to keep on struggling that we should never give up till our last breath. At the same time this violent duel  implies that fighting can never be a solution for a conflict. instead, we should have the sense of mutual Cooperation for a harmonious life .
Also ,the story might be trying to tell us that there are many more wonderful things in the world . all living things are closely related to their environment, and are equally important in their own place. the lion is the king of the Jungle, but the crocodile can defeat him in the water, which is not the kingdom of the lion.

Since this story seems to be realistic, we have to accept many things without questions.However ,I have a question in my mind.How can a crocodile grip a lion ?

After reading this  story I came to know that life is full of struggle.And also I am fully convinced that all animals are equally important in the ecosystem. every animal has its importance in its own place.
