                First day of my school

I am a grown up student now. I read in class ten. These days, I remember my past days and laugh myself. Now, I can remember the first day of my school. It was perhaps I was about five years old. My father was not at home. My mother took me to school. The school was not very far. It was at a distance of about half an hour on foot.
She talked to a tall man first. Perhaps he was the head teacher of the school. Then she took me to a class. There was a miss in the room. She called me calling my name. She hugged me and said, " Well come to my class."
I became happy. I went to the class room. We sang and clapped. They asked my name. I said," I am Krish." I made a friend. She was Chahana. But when my mother got out of the room, I started sobbing. I ran after mother catching her sari. Then again, my mother returned to the class. This time, mother had embraced me. We stayed in the class for a while. Miss told mother to take me home. But from the next day, I went to school happily.
